Travelance

Trusted partner for international relocations. Learn why we recommend this provider.

Overview

Travelance is a Canadian travel and accident insurance distributor that has been providing insurance solutions to Canadians since 2013. They provide insurance solutions for visitors to Canada, travelling Canadians, and international students studying in Canada.

Why we recommend

Travelance is recommended for their quality Visitors to Canada Emergency Medical Insurance Plans underwritten by Old Republic Insurance Company of Canada. Together, they provide a quality product and smooth claims service handling.

How it helps

Visitors to Canada who apply for and enter the country on a Super Visa are required, as part of the program, to carry emergency medical insurance. In addition, newcomers to Canada and returning expatriates may experience a waiting period before their Government Health Insurance Plan (GHIP) becomes active. During this time, individuals would be responsible for paying out-of-pocket for any emergency medical care they receive. Purchasing Visitors to Canada Emergency Medical Insurance helps protect against unexpected and potentially costly emergency medical expenses.

Fees and Speed
